Isca Friends

Isca Friends proudly supports the activities of Isca.  Our association brings together parents and teachers and is committed to supporting a wide range of activities within the school.

The Isca Friends supports the school by fundraising and organising activities which brings the school community together.  We organise quiz nights, a second hand uniform stall, jumble sales, summer socials, and other events.  We support school events by providing refreshments, organising raffles and acting as helpers at occasions such as open evenings.  We run information evenings about topical issues which affect our children's welfare.  We are a sounding board for staff and offer advice and opinion on issues related to the school.  We are a voice for parents.

The work of Isca Friends has funded headphones for the science lab, a new Mac computer for the library, lunchtime concerts by local musicians and has made a financial contribution to the Ten Tors, Duke of Edinburgh, and Exmoor Challenge teams.

The Giving Machine

The Giving Machine website is a portal to hundreds of online retailers.  Shops that feature on the website pat The Giving Machine a sales commission for directing shoppers to their online stores.

This commission is then forwarded to the shopper’s chosen school or charity as a cash donation.  Isca Friends co-ordinate donations from The Giving Machine and use them to buy resources for students.

Companies involved include:  Amazon, Tesco, Asda, Ebay, PC world, Apple Mac, Marks & Spencer and all the shopper needs to do is to choose Isca as their chosen school before making a purchase.

Head to the website to register and begin shopping.
