Exe Valley Challenge 2018

Exe Valley Challenge
July 1st 2018

The ninth Exe Valley Challenge event will take place on Sunday 1st July 2018.
Team booking is now open and information can be downloaded below.
Please confirm teams by FRIDAY 25th MAY.

The event will feature over 120 teams from schools across Exeter and the surrounding region.  It promises to be an exciting opportunity for children to challenge themselves and work independently as a team in a fun and safe environment.  This walking and navigation event takes place around the River Exe basin, between Countess Wear and St Davids bridges’.  Teams of 4 participate in the following categories:

Year’s 6 & 7 (Seniors) - 10 mile course

Year‘s 4 & 5 (Juniors) – 7 mile course

Year’s 2 & 3 (Mini’s) – 5 mile course

All finishers will receive a medal and there are 8 separate trophies for the winners of the different categories.  In addition, we wish to continue raising awareness for Children’s Hospice South West and participants can collect sponsorship money on their behalf.  In the last 8 years this event has raised over £10,000 for this worthwhile charity.
