Ten Tors training continues in all weathers

Over 20 students took to the hills this weekend as the first overnight training session for Ten Tors took place in difficult weather conditions. Many of the students had never experienced anything like the rain that greeted them on Dartmoor on Saturday but all made it safely to their overnight stop in Princeton and everyone was pleased to see a brighter day on Sunday!
A big congratulations to all those that took part in the training session this weekend. As Mr Miller often tells the students that take part, this is not an activity for the feint-hearted, and is certainly 'character-building'. The teams that take part in the Ten Tors event each year are well trained for all eventualities, including the weather and the impact this has on the moor. Many thanks as well to the staff that give up their time to run this programme and support the students through their training.
