Girl’s football gave a performance to be proud of
Isca’s Year 8 girls entered the Central Venue League, Year 9 Girls, 7-a-side tournament last week in a determined and ambitious manner. Girl’s football at Isca has really taken off with a full team training every week afterschool at the sports club.  The girls played 5 Year 9 teams in total and with some fantastic results, best of all defeating St Peters A team 1-0! The girls also drew 3 games and lost only 1 to St Luke’s who hosted the event.
Top to off a brilliant day Isca’s Caitlin Evans was awarded the ‘Player of the Tournament’ award for an outstanding all round performance.
Isca continue to progress at the Devon Schools Cross-Country Championships
After the second round of the Exeter & Area Cross Country championships 4 of our pupils have made it through to represent Devon. Year 11's Frank Trimble and  Tom Veal, both of whom are GCSE PE pupils  are using Cross-Country as part of their practical assessment later in the year. Year 10 Millie Kelly ran a fantastic race to finish amongst the qualifiers. Also, Year 7 Tyler Dowdall has qualified after finishing 8th at the event. The next round will be held at Stover School on the 16th December. Well done and good luck to all of you.
