EVC weather

This Sunday is our ninth Exe Valley Challenge and possibly the hottest in the history of the event.

For this reason please ensure all participants are carrying appropriate kit with them which must include a sun hat, high-factor sun screen and plenty of water.
We are recommending that those completing the 7 mile junior routes carry 2 litres of water.
Chaperones of mini teams should ensure they are carrying as much extra water as possible for their team members.
There will be water available at some but not all checkpoints on route. Checkpoint staff will be able to tell teams where the next water point is. There will be water and refreshments available at Isca Academy at the end of the walk.

With over 600 children and young people involved in the event we are certain that everyone can enjoy the event with just a little care taken on preparing for the conditions facing us.
