BBC News School Report 2016

Thursday 10 March 2016

Isca Academy does School Report.
We are really pleased to be back doing School Report for another year at Isca Academy.

This year, Year 9 students are reporting on a wide range of topics including Strikes by Junior Doctors, the redevelopment of Exeter bus station and Radio 1's Big Weekend coming to Powderham Castle soon.

Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2016
Reporting by Harry and Jamie.
Radio 1 is holding another amazing yearly festival, and this year it’s held in the Glorious Heart of Devon!
The exiting event will be held on the 28th and 29th of May 2016, at the unique Powderham Castle for an evening of excitement.
Approximately fifty-thousand people are expected to attend this performance.
A few famous faces will appear at the night’s performance, including:
•    Ellie Goulding
•    Coldplay
•    Chase & Status
•    Bring Me the Horizon
•    Craig David
This event will attract thousands of people to this Devon countryside, and hopefully show people how beautiful Devon is as a county.
All-important ticket information will be available on the 21st of March. Follow @bbcr1 for more information.

Students from this school will be making the news for real on 10 March 2016 as they take part in BBC News School Report. We aim to publish the news by 1600 GMT on the News Day, so please save this page as a favourite and return to it later.  In the meantime, take a look at what our students produced in previous years.
