Assessment

KS3
Parents will receive a progress tracker three times during every academic year. This will report on students' current attainment, effort and behaviour for learning and homework. In addition the progress tracker will also have a comment from the tutor and an annual comment from the Head of House.

KS4
Parents of Year 10 students will receive a progress tracker three times during every academic year and Year 11 parents will receive two progress trackers. This will report on students' current attainment, effort and behaviour for learning and private study.

Parent surgery
There will be five parent surgeries a year. Each one will have a focus year group but parents of all year groups will be welcome to attend and discuss progress with staff if they have any concern.
Staff are also available to discuss concerns that may arise at any other time. Please contact the school office in the first instance to contact a member of staff.
Dates for 2016/17 are as follows:

Tuesday 1 November - Year 7
Tuesday 17 January - Year 11
Tuesday 28 February - Year 9
Tuesday 20 April - Year 10
Tuesday 2 May - Year 8, including Year 8 Options Evening
