Teacher of Technology (Resistant Materials/Graphics)
Permanent, 0.7 FTE, Starting 1st September 2017
Do you have a relentless drive to achieve outstanding progress and attainment with children regardless of their background and prior learning?
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, capable and enthusiastic teacher, with a proven commitment to inclusive, innovative and inspiring teaching where each and every child can succeed. Ideally, applicants will have experience of teaching Resistant Materials, Product Design and Graphic Products to at least Key Stage 4. The post represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant and ambitious Academy working within the Ted Wragg Multi-Academy Trust.
Our school is located on a recently designed campus with purpose-built accommodation, offering spacious and excellent teaching and learning facilities. We currently have a roll of 675 students, building up to a capacity of 950. The Technology Department boasts two fully equipped, state of the art workshops, a CAD suite with 3D printer, a laser cutter and a CNC milling machine.

The new HR Manager role offers an exciting opportunity to join the Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust, driving the development of its HR function during a period of growth. 
This challenging role will involve working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and Headteachers, and will be responsible for all aspects of HR within the Trust and its Family of Schools.  With experience of working in a change environment, you will lead and develop an efficient and effective HR function, being personally involved in both strategic issues and day-to-day operation.
The successful applicant will be a fully qualified HR professional who is able to translate visionary concepts into practical implementation plans. You will have extensive experience of developing and applying financial policies and procedures, strong negotiation skills and be aware of HR legislation impacting on Multi Academy Trusts. Education or Charity experience would be advantageous.
You will be enthusiastic and committed to the transformation of lives through education, ensuring that the Trust HR function enables delivery of its vision to deliver outstanding outcomes for every student.
