Clerk to the Local Governing Body
Permanent post, starting as soon as possible
Salary range: £3,157.24 to £3,609.88, depending upon skills and experience
Expected working hours are 300 hours per annum worked flexibly, term-time only


We are seeking to appoint a Clerk to the Governing Body to maintain and advance existing high standards of governance within our Academy. You will be an organised, rigorous, self-motivated and positive individual with an attention to detail and a proactive attitude to your role. You will work closely with the Chair of Governors to manage the affairs of the Local Governing Body of Isca Academy, including preparing focused agendas and associated documents, producing accurate and timely minutes of meetings, offering procedural and constitutional advice to both governors and the Academy, and delivering administrative support to meet statutory obligations. Although the postholder will largely work independently, you will also be part of a wider team of Clerks to the Governing Body within the Ted Wragg Multi-Academy Trust, from which you will be able to draw support and share best practice.

The post represents an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant and ambitious Academy working within the Ted Wragg Multi-Academy Trust. Our school is located on a recently designed campus with purpose-built accommodation, offering spacious and excellent teaching and learning facilities. We currently have a roll of 760 students, building up to a capacity of 950.
